How to check the welding of PP square pipe?

PP square pipe is judged according to the corresponding conditions and specifications in the process of installation and construction. The straight pipe must be cut with a pipe cutter first, and the socket must be very flat. There must be no scratches or deformation of more than 1mm when the socket end pierces into the electric welding sleeve. The used electric welding sleeve must not be used again. If the electric welding sleeve is damaged or deformed, it should be put aside and not used. If the connection fails, it should be replaced with a new electric welding sleeve to weld from the beginning. If the electric welding sleeve fails due to power blockage in the process, After complete cooling, insert the secondary wire for welding from the beginning. If stress is required on the pipe immediately after welding, it can be cooled by pouring cold water. Grind the outer layer of the joint end of the pipe or piping parts with sandpaper. If there is grease on the surface, wipe it with vinyl chloride or acetone; Insert the two ends into the welding sleeve, and the two ends must reach the center point of the welding sleeve. When inserting, the two ends must be free of water. Then insert the secondary wire of the welding controller and start welding. During the process, do not move or touch and block the power supply in the middle or make the junction point of the secondary wire loose. After one hour of welding, the junction point can be fully cooled before it can be pressurized in the pipe and pulled from the outside to ensure that the junction point is not deformed.

Inspection after PP pipe welding:


(1) Visual inspection: before, during and after re welding, the following situations shall not occur:


A. The welding lug is not flat, too big or too small.


B. The two pipes are not on the same axis.


C. The surface of the welding lug is glossy (representing overheating and excessive cooling stress).


(2) Non destructive inspection:


A. Connect a metal needle with an electron gun so as to measure the air leakage point and impurity at the welding point.


B. X-ray inspection: All undesirable scenes can be detected from the X-ray image.


C. Mechanical and destructive inspection:


As a new type of water pipe material, PP air pipe has unique advantages. It can be used as both cold pipe and hot water pipe, because it is non-toxic, light, pressure resistant and corrosion resistant, and is becoming a popular material. It is also applicable to hot water pipelines and even pure drinking water pipelines. The interface of PP pipe adopts hot-melt technology, and the pipes are completely blended together. Therefore, once the device passes the suppression test, it will not have the same aging and water leakage phenomenon as the aluminum plastic pipe, and the PP pipe will not scale.
